My name is Michael Bradley, and I am a Mom of two terrific kidlets. I am also a retired California Highway Patrol Officer, and an artist.

My Peace Officer Career was ended when I was hit off-duty by a drunk driver in San Diego, California. I broke my neck, shattered my right wrist, and had other massive, life-threatening injuries. My daughter was in the crash as well, and was only 21 months old at the time. She had severe intracranial bleeding(bleeding in the brain)and was in a coma for about 4 days. Thankfully she has no lasting effects from her injuries. The man that hit us is serving a 13 year prison sentence, as this was his third time being caught for DUI, and he fled the scene, leaving us to die. I am thankful every day that I am alive and that I can still do artwork even though every day I deal with pain and my drawing hand is atrophied into a "claw" from the crash injuries.

I enjoy doing art...any kind(painting, sculpture, whatever I can..the link to my online gallery is at the bottom of this page). I also enjoy writing poetry and short stories. I like to watch America's Next Top Model, Project Runway and Ghost Hunters, as well as Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex and Robot Chicken. I have eclectic taste in music, and I like all kinds. Some of my favorites are Peter Gabriel, Sting, and Enya, and I love to collect Soundtracks. I LOVE the LoTR Trilogy soundtrack by Howard Shore, as well as Conan the Barbarian by Basil Poledouris. I play World of Warcraft, adn I can be found on the Daggerspine server where I run a guild called Narcissus in Chains. I enjoy reading mostly fictional books, though I have a few non-fiction that usually revolve around Crime Scene Investigation and Dr. Henry Lee, who is an amazing forensic investigator. I try to be positive but there are some days when I am just a category 5 bitch...you'll know it when it happens. I only have one friend from high school I keep in touch with, and we only got back in touch recently.

After my crash, I had a very powerful personal experience which initiated my journey to becoming a Christian. I am proud of who I have become, and I am so thankful for my family and friends.
